Why Northstar PPEC
A Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care facility is a welcoming center providing a great environment for children with medically complex diagnoses and/or with disabilities. Our interdisciplinary medical professionals provide extensive training to care for your child. Our medical director is a board-certified pediatrician. We have an amazing in-house team of caring nurses to handle all of your child’s needs throughout the day. Also, all developmental therapies are offered right in our center. This includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, feeding therapy, and behavioral therapy. For your convenience, transportation at no cost to parents is provided for your child through a licensed provider. All these services are covered by Medicaid, therefore at no cost to parents. It is our privilege as a facility to provide to your children, entertainment, recreational and educational activities, field trips and more.
Un centro de cuidados pediátricos prolongados prescritos es un centro acogedor que proporciona un excelente ambiente para niños con diagnósticos médicamente complejos y/o con discapacidades. Nuestros profesionales médicos interdisciplinarios brindan una amplia capacitación para cuidar a su hijo. Nuestro director médico es un pediatra certificado por la junta. Contamos con un increíble equipo interno de enfermeras atentas para manejar todas las necesidades de su hijo durante todo el día. Además, todas las terapias de desarrollo se ofrecen en nuestro centro. Esto incluye fisioterapia, terapia ocupacional, terapia del habla, terapia de alimentación y terapia conductual. Para su comodidad, se proporciona transporte para su hijo sin costo por medio de una compañía licenciada.
